Pope first appeared after colon surgery

Pope Francis today came out to the Balcony of Gemelli Hospital in Rome to preside over the weekly prayer in hundreds of people.

The Pope stands about 10 minutes on his disease balcony on the 10th floor of hospitals.

Pope Francis on July 11 presided over the weekly prayer from Gemelli Hospital Balcony, Rome.

Hundreds of people gathered beneath Viva Il Papa!

This is the first time Pope Francis appeared in public from after he was hospitalized on July 4 to conduct surgery for treating colitis.

Earlier, Director of the Vatican's Press Office said the Pope, 84, had a whole body anesthesia and well responded to the surgery.

A few hours before hospitalization, the Pope still presided over the ceremony before thousands of people in St. Square.
